Ninja Gaiden2 has sold over 250,000 copies in a week. Hardly a flop. Of course its nowhere near MGS4 numbers, no one expects it to be, no one in there right mind said it would be. Same as MGS4 is nowhere near Halo3's launch numbers.
And lets not forget PS3 hardly has the huge sellers compared to to the 360's. Saying a game will have the lowest sales because it's 360 exclusive is retarded. The biggets exclusive sellers this generation have been the 360 ones...halo and gears. Just check ...
I thinkits the best made console, yes. Best ever..too early to say. I use my 360 more so far mainly due to i have more friends on that network and prefer the games( mass effect, gears etc) so far. Saying that its shaping up to be a good for Ps3 games so that may change.

They all break promises but Sony is the king of broken promises so i don't really get this.
I reckon a million day one, two to 3 mill in the next few weeks bits and bobs after that.
I doubt it will match Halo3's day 1 figures as we would have heard by now and doubt it will sell as much overall but the best game doesn't always win the sales.
Its selling well enough and its good ,thats all that matters.

The last one was rubbish and this will be to. Hell if 50cent appeared in movies like the rings or star wars trilogys they would be awful to because he's in it. The man just sums up everything that is wrong with the world.

They have some good games this year but last years line up was better.
Having games like Mass Effect/ bioshock and Halo3 in a matter of weeks of each other only happens once in a blue moon.

Compared to the Wii both ps3 and 360 are not really doing that well. They need to drop the price if they want the big figures.
Its great theat the 360 is getting loads of RPG's but i will give this one a miss. I used to love the jrpgs but they seem a bit stale to me now.
I prefer the western Mass Effect style now.

I agree. I got it on Ps3 and found it pretty dull . Theres much better shooters out there. If they really wanted to shift units on the 360 they should have included a palyable demo of gears not a video. It would sell millions then.
Bigger is not always better. Communication with lots of players is a nightmare. Thats why in games like Battlefield (24 players) which have large numbers i normally go into private chat with a friend whos playing with me. I can still hear everyone else but work closely with a friend. Otherwise its just a shambles.
60 players in a match would just be a free for all. It should be about turning the amount of players to the gameplay not putting loads of players on just because you can.
If it sells 4-5mill in a week then yeah its got its Halo3. If it doesn't then its still got a good game. What does it matter.
The ps3 delays are a bit annoying. Was thinking of getting Alone in the dark for the ps3 until i heard of the delay now it will be purchased for my 360.
Same with this one. Its nice to be different but having a different architecture to pc/360 is costing Sony with delays.
Even though its years away....have the next one more reliable from the start. Thats all really. Can't really fault the 360 apart from that so as long as they carry on bringing great games and live features i will definatly get the next xbox.

Im loving MGS. Been on it since this morning but it won't sell Halo3 type figures because its hardcore gamers who will buy it not every tom and harry. The shop near me has loads of copies on the shelf whereas halo3 nad gta were sold out for weeks.
It will sell well though 3-4mill i reckon but its not about sales its about the game. And the game is great. That alone should be enough.
Well conssidering %55 of the budget went on the stars salaries they probably could make it cheaper but i don't wanna watch bewolfe starring the guys from Eastenders.

Makes sense. They haven't needed it so far. And MGS aside neither has the PS3 so far and were nearly 3 years into this generation. Im sure it will be needed in the future but the majority of games run fine on DVD.
Blue ray is great its just that the majority of developers are not going to use it to its full advantage until its the major format. Next gen it will be and then the games will really use it. Until then its just a few that will have the money and time to utilise it.
I remember playing the first one thinking the graphics were amazing... man it hasn't aged well. Will be getting the new one though.
